Christa Miller was born in Manhattan, New York on May 28th 1964. Although her father wanted her to start a successful law career, she followed in her mother’s foot steps as a model. At early ages she pursued a career they would see her through for her life.
When she was a baby, she and her mother were photographed by Francesco Scavullo for an advertisement of Ivory Snow. She was also on the cover of RedBook at the age of three. When she hit her teens, she knew she wanted to be an actress, although her parents didn’t want that for her. After she escaped from her parents concerns, she landed a guest spot on her very first prime-time show Kate & Allie. Since then she has had guest spots on Seinfeld, Northern Exposure, Party of Five and Fresh Prince of Bel Air. Her two most famous roles are Jordan Sullivan on Scrubs and Mary Katherine (Kate) O’Brien on Drew Carey Show. She also starred on Clone High as the voice of Cleopatra.
In her personal life, Christa is married to Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence. They reside in Los Angles with their three children, Charlotte, William and Henry.
